What can you expect?

Our unique multidisciplinary programme combines the latest knowledge from applied psychology, human-resource management and business management. It is specially designed to equip managers and HR professionals in the Czech Republic and beyond with the skills to work with people effectively and apply psychological principles in practice.

• Start: 25 October 2025 
• Mode of study: Weekend blocks (Saturday and Sunday)
• Duration: 2 semesters of tuition (10 compulsory modules), 1 semester of electives and the final thesis
• Total: 192 hours of in-person (contact) teaching

✅ After defending your thesis you will obtain the professional title MBA after your name and an internationally recognised IES London certificate.

What you will gain:

1. Deep psychological insight: You will learn to understand yourself and others better, interact with different personality types and take psychological aspects into account when setting up organisational processes. Competences include work and organisational psychology, personality psychology and social psychology in a workplace context.
2. Mastery of HR management: You will adopt strategic approaches to HR management, talent management, recruitment, selection and employee appraisal. You will be able to create systems for planning, deployment and evaluation as well as HR solutions for intercultural environments and organisational change.
3. Effective leadership and intercultural competence: You will develop managerial, communication and socio-psychological skills. You will understand cultural specifics and learn to harness team diversity and generational differences to build an inclusive, innovative environment. You will be prepared to lead individuals and teams in both domestic and international settings, and acquire modern leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
4. Strategic orientation and ethical decision-making: You will gain an overview of economics and management to navigate the market environment and apply its principles in managerial practice. Topics include psychodiagnostics, the psychology of decision-making, toxic behaviour and socio-pathological phenomena in the workplace, plus the ethical aspects of managerial conduct and crisis management.
5. Practical and contemporary skills: The programme is strongly practice-oriented. You will tackle real-world model situations, work with case studies and explore modern approaches such as NLP and the use of innovation and AI in HR.

Admission process and tuition fee

The MBA in Managerial and Personnel Applied Psychology is open to applicants who meet the following entry criteria:

• Completed bachelor’s degree (at least Bc.) or higher
• 2 years of professional experience in a managerial or leadership position

Well-founded individual exceptions may be granted by the admissions committee.

Tuition fee:

• full price: CZK 88,800 (VAT-free if paid by 31 December 2025)
• instalments available by individual agreement; discount for VŠAPs alumni

How does the admission process work?

• Admission is based on documents submitted by the applicant.
• In accordance with § 50(3) of Act No. 111/1998 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions, the admissions committee authorised by the Rector decides on admission.
• The committee verifies completeness of all required documents and formalities. VŠAPs will inform you of the result within 30 days of the current application deadline.

The application must include the following attachments:

1. A copy of the highest completed education certificate (min. Bc.)
2. Structured CV
3. Proof of length and nature of managerial / leadership experience (e.g. employment certificate, employer confirmation, extract from the commercial register – you can use our practice-confirmation form below)
4. Motivation letter (max. one A4 page)
5. Recent photograph (a casual mobile-phone photo is fine)
6. Proof of payment of the administrative fee of CZK 500
